Rev. 19:9; "Blessed are those who are invited to the marriage supper of the Lamb."

No one attends a wedding celebration with a teary eyes. It's a moment of joy and happiness for the couple's. The first reading and the Psalmist tells of how blessed it is to be invited to the wedding feast in heaven. This celebration which is the ideal of all celebrations is strictly by invitation.

"Blessed are they who are called to the wedding feast of the Lamb." In the symbolic language of the Book of Revelation, the Lamb is Christ and the wedding day is the beginning of God's reign. Every time we seek forgiveness for our sins with a sincere desire to change, we renew the vows of our wedding day. God's reign begins anew in our lives, but now more fully than ever! What are you waiting for? Strive to get an invite.

Lord, may we not be found absent at the wedding feast of the lamb. Amen.
