1 Cor. 15:1-11, Lk. 7:36-50. In today's first reading, Paul presents the Resurrection of Christ as the 'truth of Christian faith'. Due to the influence of Greek Philosophy, some Corinthians denied the Resurrection. For them, only the spirit is worthy and incorruptible, while the body is inferior, corruptible and ultimately irrelevant. What could be the point of raising the body after death? To correct this impression, Paul states that Christ died, buried and rose again with a new glorified body, appeared to the disciples and seen by many others.

This truth of Christian faith, challenges us to love God. This love is necessary to begin with the recognition that we are all sinners and weak. The actions of the woman in today's Gospel show that she repented from her sinful ways. Thus, Jesus tells us about two debtors, one was owning a huge amount, the other a much smaller sum. The one with the bigger debt will surely be more grateful when the debt was cancelled. The forgiving love of Jesus gives the woman new life and made her to love Jesus with a grateful and fervent love. St Andrew Kim Taegǒn, Paul Chong Hasang and companions showed their love for Christ by laying their lives when no missionary dare to minister in Korea. Today their undying spirit continue to sustain the Christian faith.

May the Lord grant us a lively faith animated by charity! Amen!! Good morning, it is well with you!!!
