THERESA ARIMORO RETIRES FROM TEACHING SERVICE

THE PRESIDENT of Ilesa Deanery Catholic Women Association, Mrs Theresa Arimoro, has retired from the teaching service of Osun State.

At a recent thanksgiving Mass to mark the ceremony, Rev. Fr Phillip Fayanju said that God cherished rest and that was the reason he rested after working for six days and used the seventh day to rest.

Fr Fayanju urged Mrs Arimoro not to be afraid of what she will eat or drink for God the provider will provide for her needs. Anybody that believes in God will not lack anything, he said.

The priest advised Mrs Arimoro not to stop the work of mercy which the family had been doing. He narrated how Mrs Arimoro used to give him gifts when he was an aspirant with her son at Bishop House in Osogbo about 10 years ago.

Fr Fayanju does not see the country as bad; "it is the Nigerians that are bad because some workers will continue to change their ages in order to stay longer at their working place." He then urged the congregation to think of what they can do to make Nigeria a better place to live.
