A PRIEST OF ILORIN diocese, V. Rev. Fr Joseph Awoyale, says “when we are close to God, we shall experience God in a miraculous way. Serving God in fulfilling the purpose for which we are created.”

Rev. Fr Awoyale, dean, Oro deanery, Ilorin diocese stated this in his homily on Mission Sunday at St Cyprian’s, Offa, Ilorin diocese during the inauguration of  members  of the Association of Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary.

The homilist enjoined the faithful to always place their hope in the Lord, adding that it will be sad for anyone to abandon the house of God.

He urged all  to  be regular in the  church  for  no  one knows when God will attend to one’s petitions.

This parish priest of St Andrew’s, Oro would want all to continually pray for our leaders to be able to do the will of God always.

He affirmed that Jesus Christ mission is for every Christian and not just for priests alone. He therefore implored everyone to always work in the vineyard of the Lord and promote His mission by visiting erring members, creating more centres of  worship  and waking up to our responsibilities.

Fr Awoyale reminded members of the Association of Sacred Heart of Jesus and Immaculate Heart of Mary to always extol the virtues of Jesus Christ and the Blessed Virgin Mary.
