MOST REV. PETER Odetoyinbo of Abeokuta has told the faithful to be true reflection of God's mercy in their dealings with fellow beings.

Bishop Odetoyinbo was speaking at the annual diocesan celebration of the Divine Mercy Sunday at St John Bosco, Alagbole, Ogun State, while consecrating new devotees of divine mercy as apostles of mercy.

The bishop encouraged the faithful not to doubt any aspect of their faith as doubt destroys the established relationship with God. Rather, he urged all to repose complete trust in the Divine Mercy, as revealed to St Maria Faustina.

Bishop Odetoyinbo urged the faithful to approach the Sacrament of Confession regularly without any doubt. "When you feel you have no sin, you may still approach the confessional in order to simply receive grace," he said.

"God's mercy is unfathomable and incomprehensible and it covers all that is needed in life."

Present on the occasion were other apostles of mercy, Rev. Fr Sunday Peter, diocesan chaplain; Fr Anthony Famoroti, host, and Engr Adenubi Adetola, KSM, diocesan leader.
